Cascadian Farms and Farmville Giveaway

Cascadian Farm's Mission
Preserving Our Planet for Future Generations to Come.

Cascadian Farm's Mission Story
The story of Cascadian Farm begins with the story of our founder, Gene Kahn. 38 years ago, Gene was an idealistic 24-year old grad-school dropout from Chicago, who just wanted to make a difference in the world. He recognized the delicate balance between nature and humans. Inspired by reading “Silent Green” and “Diet For A Small Planet”, Gene wanted to go back to the land and farm in a way that would not harm the natural beauty of the earth or her inhabitants. So he set out to farm organically on a little stretch of land next to the Skagit River in the Cascade Mountains of Washington.

Today Cascadian Farm has grown beyond our original farm and is recognized as a pioneer in converting conventional farms to organic. We were organic before “organic” was a trend, or even before it was certified by the USDA. From day one, we’ve farmed in a way that preserves the soil, and protects the rivers and streams around us. By working in harmony with the land, we offer products that balance the needs of the environment along with the needs of your nutrition.

Cascadian Farm also realizes that we can make a difference beyond just the food that we produce. That’s why we work with partners who share our mission and can help us make improvements to our products and processes. Together, with every bite of our delicious fruits, vegetables and whole grains, we can sustain the health of the earth for all living creatures today, tomorrow and for generations to come. Learn more about our farm!

MyBlogSpark sent me some Cascadian Farm products. The Cascadian Farm Fruit & Nut Granola Cereal and the Harvest Berry Chewy Granola Bars. We really enjoyed the cereal and the bars.

One of my blog readers will receive the Cascadian Farm Fruit & Nut Granola Cereal, Harvest Berry Chewy Granola Bars, a coupon for a FREE Cascadian product and a $10 Farmville card. The same prize pack that I received.
